SHED SPECIFICATIONS:
- Sheds are built on 50-year ground contact, 4×4 treated beams on 12”x12”x2” concrete pads with a 4 mil poly layer underneath to prevent moisture issues.
- Floor joists are 12” on center with exterior CDX plywood flooring.
- We use construction adhesive along with ring shank galvanized fasteners for added strength.
- Walls are framed with 2×4 studs 16” on center just like house construction with the option of 2×6 framing.
- All buildings have roof overhangs with customizable soffit finishes.
- Rafters are 2×6 lumber with exterior CDX roof sheathing.
- Standard synthetic underlayment for added weather protection and interior vapor barrier.
- 30-year architectural shingles.
- We use Primed LP Smartside for exterior siding, and multiple cladding styles: lap siding, board and batten, shakes, etc.
- Windows are custom-ordered, house-quality construction with multiple color and grid options.
- Exterior paint is included with all buildings.
